Anathoth House Partners with Future Next to Feed Families in Need

Anathoth House partners with Future Next to feed families in need.

Anathoth House a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides free services and food to those most in need. As a food pantry and non-profit Anathoth House provides these support services and products to help assist families who demonstrate a need whether it is a temporary situation or a long term one. These services and products are crucial to our community now more than ever.

This project titled “The Gideon Project” is to identify and quickly put groceries in the hands of families who most need it in a private and discrete manner, give families an extra push towards independence through outreach and resources that allow families to have access to healthier food choices.

At FNC we believe in building the whole child and not having to worry about things in life we absolutely need such as food can be a huge relief and burden lifted off of families. This enables families to focus their efforts and energy on improving other pressing areas in their home life situation. We also believe people just need resources and some extra support from time to time.

Okay, we’re so excited to kick off this project just in time for the holidays! I am sure you are excited as well right now. Are you asking yourself how does this project work? How do I know if my family is eligible to receive groceries? How long until I receive my bag of groceries? Is this a one time initiative? Well “The Gideon Project” is an ongoing year around effort. Here’s our process in order for your family to qualify and to begin receiving groceries:

  • Complete the basic online confidential APPLICATION here

  • Someone will contact you to conduct an over the phone interview

  • Although this is an ongoing effort PLEASE NOTE all food and products are offered on a first come first serve basis and while supplies last

  • There will be a monthly distribution at a designated pick up location is yet To Be Determined, TBD

It’s as simple as that so don’t delay if you or anyone you know that may be in need of food please submit your request and feel free to pass this information along to other families. If you would like to support this effort by sponsoring a family, volunteering and or making a monetary tax deductible contribution please do so by visiting Anathoth House website
