College Bound is Here! FREE SAT & ACT Workshop

FallSATACT2013

FNC proudly presents a FREE SAT/ACT workshop!

A great SAT score can be the tipping factor in both college admissions and scholarship competitions. But parents find that formal courses can be very costly, and students are left to struggle with preparation material on their own.

FNC is here to help with a 2-part workshop series. Session 1 will include the tips, techniques, and strategies that top-scoring test takers use to boost their scores. Session 2 will include content specific strategies and practice questions to help you grasp important math and verbal concepts. Give yourself a competitive edge through organized, strategic practice,  and you can approach the SAT with confidence.

This workshop is all about bringing inspiring speakers and panelists to get our youth dreaming about their future careers!

Young professionals from a wide array of careers will describe their choices and their paths to success in areas such as business, law, engineering, healthcare, and education. Through a panel discussion, the students are able to hear about different career options, as well as the road traveled by these young professionals. There will also be a representative from the military that will provide an alternative route to students considering such a choice, as well as give an overview of benefits of a future with the military. The workshop will wrap-up with group mentoring to allow for more personal interaction with our young professionals. The mentoring is intended to encourage the students to network and obtain knowledge about different careers. The goal is to really get the students thinking about their future!
